Motivational Luncheon 2011
The foundation for Neurosciences, Stroke and Recovery (FNSR) hosted a Motivational luncheon showcasing success stories in the field of neuroscience on Sunday, March 27th 2011, at Newport Bay's scenic Balboa Bay Club. The luncheon benefited FNSR, a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the lives of individuals and families who have been affected by neurological ailments and to touch lives by providing education, support groups, fitness classes, psychotherapy and community outreach programs.
Guests were treated to a gourmet luncheon, lively music, a silent auction and a reverse raffle with a prize of $5,000. The afternoon was rounded out by a trio of motivational speakers: FNSR Executive Director Christopher Duma, M.D., FACS; Parkinson’s In Balance Executive Director Allison Smith-Conway, MA, NASM-CPT and Young-Onset Parkinson’s Disease activist Todd Bischoff.
